The Intermediate Master Class
No grinder, no copper foil, no kiddin’!
Ready to take your stained glass art to the next level? You’ll be glad you did.
The Intermediate Master Class is designed for those who have experience and are comfortable cutting glass and building pieces using copper foil and are ready to move on from smaller pieces such as sun-catchers. Using lead came will create cleaner, stronger lines while saving time and money. This is a unique and valuable learning experience for stained glass artists who want to expand their existing skills and build real deal weather-grade window panels.
Intermediate students will need some time to prepare before their workshop. Students are tasked to arrive with an approved pattern pre-printed and their glass pre-cut.
With small class sizes, personal Master Craftsman instruction, and hands-on learning, Intermediate students will leave Wabi-Sabi Workshops with a 15 in x 15 in zinc framed window panel, and the confidence and knowledge to create large, complex traditional leaded stained glass window panels by adopting the same leadworking techniques Master Artisans have been using for almost 1,000 years. You will also learn how to save money with lead working where there is no need for patina, cooling fluid, cutting oil, or expensive lead stretchers. Included in the course, you’ll receive access to an online video version of the Master Class and discounts on future classes.
